Each Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. in room 101 our prayer ministry, God Answers Prayer, meets together for a time of prayer. Born out of a group of women inspired by God during a retreat to intercede for our children and teenagers, we seek the life-shaping presence of God in our lives, church, community. If you are a "prayer warrior" we would love to have you join us!
Our prayer ministry also extends to an e-mail network of church members, family, and friends. If you would like to share your prayer requests with our church and Prayer Ministry, you may do so by filling out the Prayer Request form on this page, or by emailing prayer_ministry@fbcmonahans.com.

| David Gallaher Submitted by: David Gallaher | God has shown me repeatedly that His ways are not my ways, His plans not my plans. He continues to surprise me with His faithfulness and steadfast love. I believe God is at work in all things, bringing about good for His children, for all of us, in every way. I am so thankful for all of you at FBC Monahans. I count very many of you as dear friends and family. God has used you in my life to encourage me and strengthen me, teach me and support me. My deep passion for Church Ministry began here at FBC Monahans. God has been at work in my life many years, from childhood, and I have had a strong sense of His calling and work in my life for many years. This calling is starting to come together in a more concrete way, and I believe seminary is the next step for me, as I continue to seek out God’s will and plan for my life. I ask for your prayers, as I begin to apply for seminary, that God would make His will clearly known to me, and work powerfully in my life. The church should receive a request for a recommendation from the seminaries I apply to. It can sometimes be hard to know what God is doing in the life of a person, or the life of a church, but I hope you know and will continue to pray that God, who has begun a good work in me, will bring it to completion. And I pray the same for you. Your friend and brother in the Lord, David | 06-08-2011 |
